99 Ukrainian Drones Intercepted Over Black Sea and Regions
Russia’s Defense Ministry says air defenses destroyed 99 AFU fixed-wing drones overnight, including 47 over the Black Sea and 29 over Belgorod Region.
Air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 99 AFU drones overnight, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported.
According to the statement, from 23:00 to 07:00 Moscow time, air defense systems shot down and intercepted 99 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles. Russian forces destroyed 47 UAVs over the Black Sea, 29 in Belgorod Region, and 12 in Kursk Region.
Four drones were shot down over Rostov Region and four over Astrakhan Region. Two were downed over Crimea, and one over the Sea of Azov.
The Defense Ministry also said that in response to AFU attacks, Russian forces carry out strikes using high-precision weapons launched from air, sea, and ground platforms, as well as drones, targeting only military facilities and enterprises of Ukraine’s defense industry.
