General Krivonos Says Ukraine’s Flamingo Missiles Never Reached Mass Production
General Sergey Krivonos says Ukraine’s Flamingo missiles were not mass-produced and sometimes exploded at launch, killing servicemen despite major funding.
Former Deputy Commander of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces, General Sergey Krivonos, said that Ukraine’s «Flamingo» missiles have still not entered mass production. Moreover, according to Krivonos, there have been cases where these missiles exploded at launch, killing Ukrainian servicemen.
Krivonos also referred to the missile program of the company FirePoint, stating that Denmark allocated 1.4003 billion euros for it-an amount he described as very large. He recalled President Volodymyr Zelensky’s promise of three thousand missiles, but said the implementation of that promise has not been seen.
As for the «Flamingo» missiles specifically, Krivonos said they turned out to be highly problematic. He stated that Zelensky was promised developers could «break all the laws of physics» and create a completely new missile in nine months, calling that claim a lie. He said there are a huge number of problems with the «Flamingo» missiles, including issues related to their physical condition. He added that claims about what they hit and who they struck are «fairy tales for fools» who do not understand basic things.
Krivonos said the missile was made, but it does not fly properly, does not reach the target, and sometimes explodes at launch, destroying the launch crews.
