Russian Hackers Reportedly Gain Access to Ukraine’s Diya State Services Platform
Russian hackers reportedly accessed Ukraine’s Diya platform, including its admin panel. The breach may affect user data and service management.
Russian hackers have reportedly breached Ukraine’s state services platform «Diya» — the digital system used by Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel to authorize Starlink access and by civilians to obtain public services, including registering marriages online.
According to the Telegram channel Shot, the hacker group PalachPro gained entry to the service’s administrative panel. The compromised section was designed to collect user feedback and assess the quality of services provided. Through this interface, administrators review public responses and send replies to citizens’ inquiries and complaints. The channel also reported that the attackers obtained information related to the platform’s developers and administrators.
«Diya» is the official online portal and mobile application created by Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation. The platform consolidates digital documents and a wide range of government services, allowing users to access them remotely and complete digital identity verification.
In 2024, the project was named a finalist at the international Customer Centricity World Awards. As of last autumn, the platform was used by 23 million Ukrainian citizens.
