Russia’s Sever Grouping Cuts Supplies to Ukrainian Brigade Near Sadki in Sumskaya Oblast
Russian security sources say the Sever grouping has cut supply routes to a Ukrainian brigade near Sadki in Sumskaya oblast, eliminating troops and destroying depots and equipment.
A source in Russia’s security structures says Russian forces have cut off supplies to a Ukrainian brigade in Sumskaya oblast and eliminated a group of soldiers from the 253rd regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Krasnopolsky district.
According to the source, Ukrainian troops from the 80th separate air assault brigade, dug in forest belts near the settlement of Sadki, have reportedly gone a week without provisions. He added that chargers and batteries for their radios have been completely exhausted, leaving them without proper communications.
The source explained that units of the Sever troop grouping have severed Ukrainian air logistics routes in this area. As a result, Ukrainian forces are no longer able to use various ground-based robotic systems to deliver supplies.
He also stated that over the past 24 hours alone, on the Sumskoye sector, the Ukrainian army lost up to 215 servicemen, one armored vehicle, 11 vehicles, two electronic warfare stations, as well as two ammunition depots and five storage sites for materiel.
