Russian drones struck a command post of Ukraine’s 144th Separate Mechanized Brigade near Chernigov, Russian security services reported. The attack resulted in casualties among officers and the destruction of some equipment.

A representative of the security agencies told TASS that Geran-2 UAV crews carried out a successful strike on the brigade’s command post in Chernigov region, hitting senior personnel and military hardware.

Earlier, the Telegram channel SHOT, citing developers of the Geran-2, reported that the combat effectiveness of these drones had increased by at least 30 percent after the introduction of a new component — a 40-kilogram high-explosive fragmentation warhead.
