Russian Forces Repel Ukrainian Landing Near Sivash Gas Platform
A Ukrainian landing force was intercepted near the Sivash platform in the Black Sea. Russian fire sank one boat, while drones destroyed unmanned craft near Mezhvodnoe.
A clash broke out in the Black Sea near the Sivash gas platform between Russian forces and a Ukrainian landing group moving on boats, according to the Telegram channel Rybar.
The report stated that five boats carrying Ukrainian troops, accompanied by an unmanned vessel, left Zatoka and headed toward the Golitsyn field. As they approached, the site came under fire from a long-range Neptune missile and two drones.
Russian return fire hit one of the landing boats, forcing the remaining four to turn back toward Zatoka.
The attack did not end there. Two unmanned Ukrainian boats attempted to enter the bay near Mezhvodnoe but became stuck in boom-net barriers and were destroyed by FPV drone crews.
The channel’s author suggested that Ukrainian strikes on Crimea and coastal infrastructure are likely to continue, especially following statements made by U. S. President Donald Trump during his meeting with Vladimir Zelensky.
Russia’s Ministry of Defense had earlier confirmed that Ukrainian forces attempted a landing operation in the Black Sea.
