FP-2 kamikaze drones used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been spotted with additional equipment mounted under their wings. This was reported by the Telegram channel Osvedomitel.

According to the report, one of the drones intercepted by anti-air FPV drone operators from the Rubikon Advanced Unmanned Technologies Center of the Russian Armed Forces was found to carry two payloads of unknown purpose. The author suggests these could be additional warheads or drop containers.

The base version of the FP-2 is believed to carry a warhead weighing around 100 kilograms and has an estimated range of up to 200 kilometers.

Earlier in April, it was reported that units of the 144th Guards Motor Rifle Division of the Russian Armed Forces received Molniya-R reconnaissance drones. Developed from the Molniya-2 platform, these systems are equipped with a camera and digital communication.

In March, the Osvedomitel channel also reported that Russian Geran-2 kamikaze drones had been equipped with a passive radar homing seeker designed to detect enemy radar systems.
