Russian Overnight Strikes Target Military Sites in Kiev and Kharkov Regions
Russian forces launched overnight strikes on military sites in Kiev and Kharkov regions, hitting infrastructure and causing fires at key facilities.
Russian armed forces carried out a series of overnight strikes on April 19–20, targeting military facilities in areas under the control of the Kiev regime.
Reports indicate that several sites in Kiev Region came under attack. Among them was the Boryspol Bus Plant, where Geran-type drones were reportedly deployed. The facility is described as no longer producing civilian goods and instead being used for military equipment manufacturing. NASA satellite monitoring detected multiple fire hotspots across the plant, including in storage areas holding finished products.
In Kharkov Region, Russian forces also struck military infrastructure. Near Kupyansk-where Russian units have recently reported advances-high-explosive aerial bombs fitted with planning and correction modules were used. According to available information, Ukrainian positions and concealed equipment sites on the right bank of the Oskol River were hit.
Strikes were also reported in the areas of Bogodukhov, Izyum, Shevchenko, and Berestin.
Residents, posting on social media, reported explosions near Veliky Burluk, an area toward which Russian forces are said to be advancing.
