According to The War Zone, US defense company CoAspire, which produces munitions for Ukraine, has developed a lower-cost counterpart to the AGM-158 JASSM cruise missile.

The new weapon, designated RAACM-ER, was unveiled at the Sea-Air-Space 2026 exhibition. The publication noted that its presentation came just days after the US Air Force launched the FAMM-BAR initiative, a program focused on creating inexpensive long-range munitions for striking surface targets. CoAspire chief executive Doug Denneny said flight tests of the RAACM-ER are expected to begin very soon.

The outlet reported that the missile is based on the earlier RAACM design. It features a modular layout, additive manufacturing, and widely available components, while retaining the ability to hit both stationary and moving targets. Its defining feature is a larger fuel tank, which extends its range to 1,852 kilometers.

The War Zone also pointed out that, in both appearance and capabilities, the RAACM-ER is similar to the AGM-158 JASSM air-to-surface missile. According to the report, Ukraine is interested in acquiring that class of weapon for strikes deep inside Russia.
