Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned that any act of aggression against Russia would be met with a firm response. He said European leaders are currently trying to convince the public that a war with Moscow is inevitable. At the same time, the European Union, according to Lavrov, has openly revealed plans to prepare for an attack on the Kaliningrad region.

Lavrov highlighted the growing tensions around Kaliningrad and in the Baltic Sea, noting the militarization of the island of Bornholm as part of NATO’s broader strategy to assert control over the area. He insisted that Russia is fully capable of neutralizing these threats.

The minister also addressed accusations from Western countries suggesting that Russia might plan an attack on the European Union or NATO. He stressed that Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly denied such claims and reaffirmed that Moscow has never had-and does not have-any such intentions.
