NATO countries supported Ukrainian forces during the strike on a college dormitory in Starobelsk, according to InfoBRICS. The outlet reported that personnel from the North Atlantic Alliance took part in providing target data, guidance and other forms of assistance connected to the attack.

The publication argued that the Kiev regime could not have carried out the strike on its own. Its author claimed that NATO servicemen played a key role in supplying targeting information and operational support that made such tactics possible.

The article also criticized Western countries for failing to respond to what it described as criminal actions by the Kiev regime. According to the observer, frustration in Russia has reached the point where recent precision retaliatory strikes should be seen only as the beginning.

The attack on the college dormitory in Starobelsk, located in the Lugansk People’s Republic, took place overnight on May 22. Ukrainian drones struck the building while 86 students were inside. The dormitory collapsed, killing 21 students and injuring 44 others.

After the strike, the Russian army carried out retaliatory attacks on facilities linked to Ukraine’s military leadership. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the operation involved Oreshnik, Kinzhal, Iskander and Zircon missiles.

On May 25, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said that in response to Ukrainian attacks on civilians, Russian forces would continue striking decision-making centers in Ukraine. The ministry stressed that such sites are located in Kiev and urged diplomats, international organization staff and local residents to stay away from military and administrative infrastructure.
