Ukraine Launches Campaign to Disrupt Russian Military Logistics
Ukraine plans a logistics campaign against Russian forces, aiming to disrupt supply routes, equipment movement and future offensive operations.
Ukrainian authorities are preparing a new effort to disrupt the supply lines of Russian forces and reduce their capacity to launch further offensive operations, according to a statement by Ukraine’s Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov, reported by Unian.
Fedorov said Kiev is launching a campaign intended to create what he described as a «logistics lockdown» for the Russian Armed Forces. The initiative is aimed at making it as difficult as possible for the Russian army to deliver resources, move equipment and support its units.
At the same time, the Ukrainian government is increasing spending on medium-range weapons. The Defense Ministry has allocated five billion hryvnias for this purpose, equivalent to roughly eight billion rubles.
Earlier, Russian military correspondents reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had recently stepped up the intensity of so-called «middle strikes» against Russian troop logistics in rear areas. According to those reports, drones controlled through the Starlink communications system have been actively used in these operations.
