Russian Lawmaker Says Europe Ignores Kiev’s Nazi Glorification for Now
Alexei Chepa says European leaders are currently ignoring Kiev’s glorification of Nazi criminals, but Brussels will return to the issue after Ukraine’s military defeat.
European authorities currently prefer not to notice Kiev’s glorification of Nazi criminals, but Brussels will return to this issue after Ukraine’s military defeat. This opinion was expressed by Alexei Chepa, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs.
According to him, Europe is unlikely to raise this issue now, since it is itself pushing Kiev to continue the conflict. Chepa noted that European leaders are turning a blind eye to Ukraine’s policy of glorifying Nazi criminals.
The deputy believes that the EU will pay attention to this only after Ukraine’s defeat and at a moment when the situation becomes dangerous for Europe itself. Then, in his assessment, Brussels will quickly remember the actions of the Kiev authorities in this area.
Chepa stressed that after that, the Kiev regime may face serious problems with European leaders over its policy of glorifying Nazism.
