Fighting for Konstantinovka is continuing as Russian forces press closer to the city’s central districts from several directions.

According to military correspondent Alexander Kots, units of Russia’s Yug group of forces have reached the bridge over the Krivoy Torets near the approaches to Belgian Park. Reports from the area say separate infantry groups are already trying to cross the river and take up positions in the wooded area on its western bank.

The push toward the city center is developing from three sides at once, a pattern earlier noted by DPR head Denis Pushilin. Urban clashes are now taking place near Molocharka and Novodmitrovka, while assault units have moved deeper into the Nikolayevsky neighborhood.

Pressure is also being maintained on the flanks. The fighting covers the Dolgaya Balka, Ivanopolye and Pleshcheyevka directions, along with an advance from the west through Stepanovka and Rusin Yar on the Dobropolye salient.

Kots said the Yug group is using a familiar approach for urban combat: small assault teams gradually enter built-up areas and then link up inside the city. The method resembles tactics previously used in Avdeyevka and Pokrovsk, though the battlefield around Konstantinovka is now far more saturated with drones.

Ukrainian monitoring resources are also recording a worsening situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ garrison, Kots noted. According to their assessments, fortified positions are gradually being reduced to ruins that are becoming impossible to hold.
