Over the Moscow region, air defense units intercepted and destroyed 10 drones targeting areas in the Moscow suburbs. Experts, including Major General Vladimir Popov and academician Maxim Kondratyev, indicated that the UAVs were launched from northern Ukraine and followed carefully disguised routes, flying at very low altitudes through Smolensk, Kursk, and Bryansk regions.

Popov explained that the Ukrainian forces rely on satellite navigation provided by Western partners, allowing drones to reach their targets while remaining largely undetected. Kondratyev added that launch sites are frequently changed to avoid destruction by Russian forces. When older sites are discovered, both the drones and supporting vehicles are often destroyed.

According to the expert, trucks transporting either ready-to-fly or partially assembled drones are delivered to launch points. During precise strikes by Russian artillery and missile forces, both equipment and personnel, as well as specialized hardware, are destroyed.

Additionally, pro-Russian underground sources reported that Russian forces struck UAV operator facilities in Kharkiv region overnight, further reducing the Ukrainian forces' operational capabilities.
