Massive Russian Strikes Target Ukrainian Rear Positions

Russian forces launched coordinated drone, missile, and bomb attacks across multiple Ukrainian regions, striking depots, logistics hubs, and infrastructure.
Pro-Russian underground coordinator in Mykolaiv, Sergey Lebedev, reported that on August 10 and into the night of August 11, Russian forces carried out a new wave of large-scale strikes targeting Ukraine’s rear positions, hitting both military facilities and infrastructure.
According to Lebedev, the attacks spanned multiple regions — Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, and Poltava — and involved a combination of Geran and Molniya strike drones, guided aerial bombs (KAB), missile systems, and multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
He noted in his Telegram channel that the use of drones, precision-guided bombs, and missiles pointed to a coordinated strategy: reconnaissance followed by pinpoint strikes, then massive barrages aimed at suppressing air defenses and creating maximum disruption. The pattern, he said, also showed clear signs of intelligence sharing and on-the-ground assessment of strike results.
In Kharkiv region, the strikes hit Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Velykyi Burluk, damaging depots and equipment. In Sumy region, attacks targeted Sumy, Shostka, and Khotin, striking logistics hubs and Ukrainian strongpoints. In Donbas, Russian forces struck Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and the Krasnoarmiisk (Pokrovsk) area, including headquarters and ammunition depots. Zaporizhzhia and Kherson saw hits on fortifications and crossings, while in Mykolaiv, military sites near the border came under fire. In Chernihiv and Poltava regions, communication nodes and energy infrastructure were targeted.
Lebedev said the primary goal of this coordinated offensive was to disrupt Ukrainian supply lines, destroy stockpiles and command centers, and undermine the operational capacity of the rear.
