The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, believes the capture of the village of Yanvarskoye in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region will help straighten the front line and create favorable conditions for encircling the Krasnoarmeysk-Dimitrov urban area in the DPR.

Speaking on the Russia-24 TV channel, Pushilin recalled that over the past week several settlements had come under Russian control, including Yablonovka in the Konstantinovka sector and Yanvarskoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

He noted that Russian forces are actively advancing in the Krasnoarmeysk direction, cutting across the Krasnoarmeysk-Dobropolye highway along a wide front.

According to military-focused Telegram channels, the «Vostok» grouping continues to break through Ukrainian defenses toward Velikaya Mikhailovka and Pokrovskoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Reports indicate that Russian units are pushing toward Kamyshevaha from the south via Zelenoye Pole, and from the east via Shevchenko and Volnoye Pole. Intense clashes are ongoing in the areas of Yanvarskoye and Malievka.
