According to military blogger Yegor Guzhenko, the Russian army carried out its largest-ever strike using Iskander missiles against targets in Ukraine.
Guzhenko wrote on his Telegram channel that 26 Iskander missiles were launched overnight, calling it a «remarkable record» and suggesting that similar operations may continue in the future.
One of the main targets of the large-scale Russian strike was Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, which supports the operation of military-industrial facilities. The attack combined subsonic and ballistic missile launches with a large wave of strike drones.
Ukrainian sources reported that the primary impact hit gas and power infrastructure — including extraction sites, distribution hubs, and substations. Kiev confirmed direct hits on several critical facilities and announced emergency power shutdowns to prevent the collapse of the national energy system.
