Russian Air Defense Takes Down 82 Ukrainian Drones Over Multiple Regions
Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 82 Ukrainian drones on October 26, including key strikes in Bryansk, Tula, and Moscow regions.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that on the night of October 26, Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 82 Ukrainian drones flying over Russian territories.
The ministry detailed that the majority of these drones were taken down in Bryansk region, where 30 drones were destroyed. In Tula region, 26 drones were eliminated, and seven were shot down over the Black Sea. Additionally, four drones were downed over the Sea of Azov, Krasnodar Krai, and Ryazan region. Three drones were destroyed in Rostov region, two in Moscow region, and one drone each was intercepted in Kursk and Lipetsk regions.
In a separate report, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin confirmed the destruction of a drone heading towards the capital early in the morning. After the drone was eliminated, emergency service teams arrived at the site where the wreckage had fallen.
