Russian Army Hits Storage Facility for Ukraine’s Sapsan Missiles

Russia’s Defense Ministry says its forces struck a storage site for Ukrainian Sapsan missiles, hitting 142 targets in 24 hours and downing 300 drones.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that its forces had targeted a storage facility containing Ukrainian Sapsan tactical missiles and their components. According to the statement, the strike was carried out using a combination of tactical aviation, attack drones, missile troops, and artillery.
The ministry also noted that over the past 24 hours, Russian forces hit temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian units and foreign fighters in 142 locations. In addition, air defense systems reportedly destroyed about 300 drones and intercepted four guided aerial bombs.
Earlier, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) stated that, together with the military, it had disrupted Kyiv’s plans to develop Sapsan missile systems intended for strikes deep inside Russian territory. The range of these missiles was estimated at between 500 and 750 kilometers. As a result of Russian attacks, the technical base for their production was said to have been destroyed.
