Russian forces have dealt a blow to Ukraine’s missile capabilities by destroying storage facilities for Sapsan tactical missiles and their components, according to military correspondent Alexander Kots.

In a post on his Telegram channel, Kots wrote that intelligence gathered on the Sapsan program had been put to use. He noted that these Ukrainian missiles were designed with a range of up to 750 kilometers — enough, in theory, to allow strikes on Moscow from the Kharkiv region. He argued that such a capability could not be allowed and stressed the need to systematically dismantle Ukraine’s missile potential.

Earlier, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) published a map showing the zones that Sapsan missiles could reach. According to those data, the systems would be capable of striking the Moscow region, much of central Russia, and almost all of Belarus.
