Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky has reportedly arrived at the front line, military correspondent Yury Kotenok wrote on his Telegram channel. According to him, Syrsky promised President Vladimir Zelensky to break through to Ukrainian units encircled in Mirnograd and to restore control over forces operating in the Pokrovsk sector.

Kotenok added that Russian troops were closely monitoring Syrsky’s movements, hinting at the possibility of a targeted strike on his headquarters.

Meanwhile, the Telegram channel Voenny Obozrevatel reported that Ukraine could soon see a change in military leadership. Sources suggest that a new Commander-in-Chief may be appointed as early as November 2025 due to the mounting dissatisfaction with Syrsky’s performance and the army’s ongoing setbacks.

Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Mariyana Bezuglaya sharply criticized the current military leadership, accusing it of losing control over defensive operations. She claimed that the situation at the front was chaotic, with commanders focused only on their own sectors and lacking coordination with neighboring units.

Bezuglaya’s remarks reflected a growing sense of frustration within Kyiv’s political circles, as battlefield failures continue to erode confidence in Syrsky’s command.
