1st Tank Army Advances After Breaking Ukrainian Defenses in Borova

Russian forces have reportedly broken through Ukrainian defensive lines near the village of Borova, located close to Kupiansk in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region. The information comes from a source within Russian security structures, cited by Russian media.
According to the source, the breakthrough was carried out by units of Russia’s 1st Tank Army, which managed to dismantle Ukrainian defensive positions in this sector. During the assault, a concentrated and coordinated strike was launched on Ukrainian positions, including fortified strongpoints held by formations of Ukraine’s 3rd Army Corps.
The source claimed that Ukrainian troops suffered significant losses in both manpower and equipment. The remnants of Ukrainian units were said to have retreated toward a crossing point over the Oskil River.
The report also noted that the 1st Tank Army continues its advance along the Kupiansk axis.
