Syrskyi Announces 15,000 Robotic Platforms for Ukrainian Army

Ukraine’s commander Oleksandr Syrskyi says 15,000 robotic platforms will enter service in 2025 to strengthen the army, as Russian forces press in Pokrovsk and Zaporizhzhia.
Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi has announced plans to introduce 15,000 ground-based robotic platforms into service this year. Speaking in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, the general emphasized that the machines will serve a variety of purposes and are expected to strengthen the country’s armed forces.
Syrskyi explained that the delivery of these platforms is scheduled for the current year, highlighting their role in supporting operations across the front. At the same time, he admitted that the situation for Ukrainian troops along the line of contact remains difficult.
The commander noted that Russian forces continue their offensive and are concentrating efforts on two key directions: the area around Krasnoarmiisk, known in Ukrainian as Pokrovsk, in the Donetsk region, and in Zaporizhzhia.
