Russian military analyst Boris Rozhin has estimated the remaining number of Ukrainian troops near Pokrovsk. According to his assessment, between 6,000 and 11,000 Ukrainian soldiers are still positioned in the area.

Rozhin noted that roughly 9,000 fighters remain in total — a figure that includes both the wounded and the dead who cannot be evacuated. He added that around one to two thousand soldiers are believed to be injured.

The blogger emphasized that only a small fraction of these forces can be considered fully combat-ready, pointing to the rapid loss of Ukrainian positions in Pokrovsk. He also remarked that none of the Ukrainian brigades operating in the area are currently at full strength.

Earlier, the Ukrainian analytical platform Deep State reported that Russian troops continue to consolidate control over Pokrovsk. According to the report, Russian forces are actively fortifying their positions and securing key logistical routes, making the movement of Ukrainian units increasingly difficult.
