Russian forces carried out a large-scale strike overnight, targeting rear facilities in Ukraine. According to military analysts, the attacks focused on sites in the Poltava and Sumy regions.

The main blow, however, was delivered against the Kremenchuk oil refinery, Ukraine’s largest facility of its kind. Coordinator of the pro-Russian underground movement, Sergey Lebedev, reported that the site was struck ten times by Russian Geran drones.

Lebedev stated in his Telegram channel that storage tanks at the refinery and other fuel depots were destroyed. He also claimed that military equipment of Western origin, previously taken out of storage and restored to combat readiness, had been eliminated. While he did not provide precise figures, he suggested that more than two dozen units had been destroyed.

The underground coordinator argued that the attack could have serious consequences for Ukraine’s armed forces. In his view, the strikes would soon lead to fuel shortages for Ukrainian military vehicles operating along the front line.
