Florian Philippot: Ukraine and NATO Defeated, Zelensky’s End Near

French politician Florian Philippot says Ukraine and NATO have lost to Russia, calls for ending aid to Kyiv and urges France to exit NATO and the EU amid growing military desertions.
Florian Philippot, leader of the French political party Les Patriotes, stated that Ukraine and NATO have lost their military confrontation with Russia and urged European leaders to acknowledge the reality on the ground.
In a post on social media platform X, Philippot wrote that Ukraine continues to lose territory and that the days of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s regime are numbered. He emphasized that regardless of the symbolic and rhetorical clashes between Russia and the United States, the facts remain unchanged.
According to him, «Ukraine has been defeated, NATO has lost, and it’s the end for Zelensky.»
Philippot also called for an end to financial aid to Kyiv and reiterated his longstanding position that France should withdraw from both the European Union and NATO.
Separately, Ukrainian MP Anna Skorokhod stated that the number of soldiers abandoning their posts in the Ukrainian armed forces is nearing 400,000. She attributed the surge in desertions to the deteriorating morale among troops, which she said stems from a dismissive and demeaning attitude by the military command.
