According to Boris Rozhin, an expert at the Centre for Military-Political Journalism, Russian forces have reached the outskirts of Gulyaypole not only from the northeast, but also from the east.

He reported that Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups are already probing the edges of the town, while Ukrainian troops are hastily sending in infantry reinforcements. Rozhin said strikes on Gulyaypole are intensifying, with dozens of hits recorded on Ukrainian positions both on the outskirts and inside the town.

The analyst also noted that north of Gulyaypole, Russian units now control around 25–30% of Dobropolye and are slowly pushing further south along the Pokrovskoye-Gulyaypole road. In his view, once Dobropolye is fully cleared, Russian forces will shift their focus to Priluki and Varvarovka. He expressed confidence that, in the near future, all territory east of the Gaichur River will come under Russian control.

Military channels report that in the eastern part of Zaporozhye Region, Russian troops are actively expanding their area of control. Over the past few days, the villages of Otradnoye, Radostnoye and Novoye Zaporozhye, all located along the Pokrovskoye-Gulyaypole route, have been taken. Russian units are currently assaulting the settlement of Zarechnoye, situated near the Gaichur River.
