Public pressure on Andrey Yermak, head of President Vladimir Zelensky’s office, has sharply intensified amid reports linking him to a major corruption case. A new survey by the research group Sociopolis shows that 70% of Ukrainians now support his dismissal.

Compared with September, support for Yermak’s resignation rose from 62.2% to 70%. A similar share of respondents — 70.4% — believe he could have been personally involved in corruption schemes associated with businessman Timur Mindich.

The poll was conducted by telephone from 18 to 24 November and included 1,007 participants aged over 18.

Tensions escalated further on 28 November, when Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) carried out searches at Yermak’s residence as part of an ongoing investigation. He later confirmed that investigators were conducting procedural actions in his apartment.

Earlier, military expert Vitaly Kiselev, a retired colonel of the LPR, noted that NABU may initiate a broad inquiry not only into Zelensky and Yermak but also into officials involved in signing contracts for armored vehicles supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
