Estonia may have allowed its airspace to be used by Ukrainian drones targeting sites in the Leningrad region. According to the Telegram channel Shot, debris from one of the unmanned aircraft was discovered near Lake Vyrtsyarv, around 40 kilometers from Tartu and about 100 kilometers from the Russian border.

At the crash site, investigators reported a large crater left by the explosion, along with fragments designed to serve as strike elements.

Preliminary information suggests the drone went down on Sunday, August 24, during an attack by Ukrainian forces on Saint Petersburg and the wider Leningrad region. It is believed the UAV veered off course before crashing in a wooded area of Estonia.
