Russian assault units have broken through Ukrainian defenses north of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region, pushing forward to the outskirts of Novodanilovka, according to Vladimir Rogov, co-chairman of the Coordination Council for the Integration of New Regions.

Rogov noted that Russian forces managed to advance despite heavily fortified positions, overcoming minefields and a layered defensive system set up by the Ukrainian military.

Just days earlier, Rogov accused Western countries of effectively legitimizing arms smuggling into Ukraine. As an example, he pointed to the newly unveiled Ukrainian missile «Flamingo," which he said closely resembles a British-made cruise missile in both design and performance.
