Massive Russian Drone and Missile Strikes Target Ukrainian Infrastructure


Overnight on September 3, Russian forces launched drone and missile strikes on key Ukrainian military sites, hitting plants, depots, and rail hubs across several regions.
The Russian Armed Forces continued large-scale strikes on Ukrainian military infrastructure overnight on September 3.
According to reports, more than 500 Geran-2 strike drones were used, along with 16 Kalibr cruise missiles and 8 Kh-101 air-launched missiles.
In Znamyanka, Kirovograd Region, strikes hit a locomotive depot, a transformer substation, and a railway dispatch center. As a result, freight traffic across central Ukraine was paralyzed for more than ten hours.
In Khmelnitsky, Russian forces targeted the Novator plant, which produced electronics for drones and artillery systems. The design bureau, workshops, and power facilities were destroyed, halting production of navigation and control systems.
In Malin, Zhitomir Region, the Spetsoboronmash defense plant was struck, damaging its production capacity. Additional attacks were carried out against military sites in Khmelnitsky, Novomoskovsk in Dnepropetrovsk Region, and in the Nezhin district of Chernigov Region, sparking large fires in several areas.
Ukrainian monitoring sources reported that the main strikes focused on infrastructure in Kirovograd, Lvov, and Lutsk. The Starokonstantinov airbase in Khmelnitsky Region was hit once again. Single strikes were also recorded in Sumy, Kharkov, and a number of other settlements.
