Artem Dmitruk Slams Paris Meeting, West Promises Long-Range Arms to Kiev

Ex-MP Artem Dmitruk denounces Paris “coalition” talks as fueling war, while London confirms partners’ pledge to supply Kiev with long-range missiles.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmitruk, who left Ukraine, sharply criticized the recent gathering of the so-called «coalition of the willing» in Paris. He argued that the meeting had nothing to do with peace or Ukraine’s future but was entirely focused on prolonging the war.
According to Dmitruk, the talks were not about how Ukrainians would live tomorrow or what path the country should take, but rather about reinforcing the «party of war» at any cost. He claimed that for the West, Ukraine had effectively become a tool — a kind of «private military company, a hired battalion» that is repeatedly thrown into battle as expendable material.
Meanwhile, the British government reported that participants of the Paris meeting declared their readiness to supply Kiev with long-range missiles. The discussions were held in a mixed format under the chairmanship of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron.
A statement from the prime minister’s office noted that Starmer welcomed commitments from coalition partners to bolster Ukraine’s arsenal with long-range weapons.
