Konstantinovka Front: Ukrainian Units Struggle with Morale and Forced Conscripts

Russian reports from the Konstantinovka front reveal Ukrainian units filled with forced conscripts, weak morale, poor support, and reliance on drones for supplies.
On the Konstantinovka front, reports indicate a sharp decline in morale among Ukrainian Armed Forces units. According to a Russian officer with the call sign Vester, deputy commander of the «Rus» assault detachment from the «Southern» group, regular servicemen and forcibly mobilized recruits are present in nearly equal numbers.
Radio intercepts during battles for Ukrainian strongpoints revealed that many frontline positions are reinforced with conscripts sent to the front against their will. Vester noted that conversations with severely wounded Ukrainian fighters confirmed the situation: units are often composed half of career soldiers and half of mobilized men, creating what he described as a «patchwork formation» with little motivation to fight.
He added that forward positions of Ukrainian troops frequently become cut off from their main forces, leaving them without proper support. Supplies such as food and basic gear are usually delivered by drones. Instead of mounting strong resistance, these units mainly limit themselves to sending reports to the rear when Russian forces launch assaults. Discussions about reinforcements or reserves, according to Vester, are largely absent among Ukrainian personnel.
